Jayesh Menon

Global Vice President HR

Experienced HR Leader and Country General Manager with a Rare Combination of Strategic HR and P&L Management Skills. I have almost two decades of experience in HR, including several regional and global roles in fast-paced industries such as High-Tech, MedTech, Luxury/Retail/FMCG, and Manufacturing.

Throughout my career, I have worked for multinational companies, including American, French, British, Danish and Indian companies. These experiences have given me a unique understanding of different cultures, work styles, and business practices, enabling me to build successful cross-cultural teams and navigate complex global environments.

In addition to my HR expertise, I have also taken on a rare opportunity to run a full P&L role as a Country General Manager in an emerging market in the APAC region. This experience has given me a unique perspective on how to align HR strategies with business goals and drive organizational success.

As an HR Generalist/HRBP, I have been accountable for the entire spectrum of HR, leading teams of up to 197 members, and have also worked as an individual contributor in OD/change management and Talent Acquisition. My jobs have given me the opportunity to live and work in India, China, Malaysia, Singapore (long term), USA, Germany, and Jakarta (short term), working with various levels from country heads to regional presidents and CEO/Board members.

My experiences living and working in different countries have made me very culturally aware and agile. I understand the importance of building trust and respect across different cultures, and I have a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.

I am committed to making a positive impact and taking the road less traveled. As a TEDx speaker, judge for various HR awards, volunteer for the differently-abled, mentor for startups, and Honorary Chairman of Red Cross Zhuhai, I am passionate about talent, culture, leadership, and technology.

My track record of success includes developing and implementing comprehensive leadership development programs that resulted in a 30% increase in promotion rates for high-potential employees, increasing employee engagement by 25% through the implementation of a new recognition program, and driving revenue growth as a Country General Manager.
